    Well….aluminum maybe, perhaps, could be as nice as steel for ride feel, but I’d be hard pressed to name a single example specifically. Carbon fiber might be stronger, but it can fail in ways steel doesn’t, (seen plenty of examples of this myself)

    Lots of subjective opinion here but not very convincing.

    I remember a post on STW saying you’d never make a carbon fibre frame because it is soulless!

    Didn’t we hear this once before when Aluminium came into vogue. A few companies since then have made their name making steel frames.

    What the WMB statement is missing is “If weight were your only criteria…..”
