Nukeproof FR final sample
An evolution of the bike that got 6th in the Mega Promo, this is a revised pivot position (in line with 36t ring, making it pedal great with a singlering or 36/22 chainset, but won’t work with Hammerschmidt too well). Has 140/160mm travel. We’re testing front mech positioning right now – either on the swingarm or the seat tube is possible and we’re just trying the options.No production price or deadline sorted yet.

why the choice to go with a faux bar brant? surely one of the more dated designs out there?

Faux bar is just a lazy name invented by low quality journalists. It’s a linkage driven single pivot. We’ve optimised the anti-squat/chain line around a 36t ring, so it works with the very lovely 36t ring on SLX cranks that are very popular. The higher-than-the-granny ring also gives good “winch” ability, which is important.
