Nukeproof Reactor lights rescue Batman after robbin’

Nukeproof’s Reactor lights hit the streets last week, and Yorkshire based cycling journalist Dave Anderson was glad he received a set to test!

Dave’s part-time job/hobby is what he terms “adventure science” – specifically, lurking about in caves and tunnels, looking for BATS.

Dave received reports of a new colony of Brown Long Eared bats and headed off to his trusty Batmobile (It’s a VW T4 van really) to check them out. Unluckily for Dave, his van had been broken into and his high powered bat-lights had been stolen.

Nukeproof Reactor lights came to the rescue, and after collecting his test set from Singletrack magazine, Dave fixed them to his Bat-helmet, before dissapearing down a hole in the ground to examine their bat-lair. Bat-tastic. He was even able to get the survey done, and back home for his dinner dinner dinner dinner… (sorry).

Nukeproof lights are available from all good shops – and distributed in the UK by Hotlines – http://www.hotlines-uk.com/News.aspx?NewsID=335

If anyone is interested in Bats in the East Lancashire Area – you’ll be well served to contact the East Lancs Bat Group – http://www.eastlancsbats.org/

    A bat, yesterday.
