    Hi Brant,

Does the ti piglet still have the same 18″ seat + 23.5″ TT geometry?
Also does the effective top tube length get shorter with linger forks, or will the piglet have a 23.5″ TT with 120mm forks attached?

    Eager + keen

Ti Piglet has a 24in top tube. Longer than the Blue Pig. Cos it’s a different geometry.

ooh lordy that is just what i was hoping for; save for the big headtube. please please can it be 1″1/8 size in production? Fugly headtubes are the “moto-mudguard” of the steering world – dont care if they work, they look wrong on anything but a nadgemobile. would suit the 120mm design parameter too [add anything else that might persuade]

Will it be ballpark price of the other Ti offerings?

I know what you mean about the big head tube, but it’s not that bad, for production will have a bit of external machining, I think, and it’s “future proof” – tapered is coming big time.

This looks like the frame I’ve been looking for, particually with sliding drop outs. The only thing that put’s me off is the headtube. Not Just the look of it, but being a lanky git, I would be going for the 20″. It looks like the head tube will be 120mm ish which is the same as my old Inbred. Am I right in saying that with 1 1/8 forks the stack hieght of any headset would be minimal so I’ll have to run loads of ugly spacers* to get my bars at the right hieght? I already have high rise bars BTW. Still tempted though
*I guess it is a bit about the looks then.

PS The “Refresher” decals on the singlespeed are brilliant!

    Hi Brant,

Assuming all goes well with the sample, when do you think these frames will be available to the public?

Think this frame is just what i’ve been looking for!

    Eh up Brant.
Whats the difference between this Ti piglet and the original Ti hardtail i have seen Ed Oxley riding. Is this a replacement or an additional model. am selling my Patriot to get a Ti hardtail and was settled on a ragley but just found this piglet on ya website. Where can i find a spec/angles etc to look at.
I want a bike i can ride all dayers on, trail centres and blat downhills.
    Cheers
    John

    Hi Brant

Will this take a belt drive???? I’ve seen some of these style drop outs on the gates videos which seem to split the seat stay and chain stay when the bolts are removed to allow for belt installation.

Looks great, very excited, looking to get a TI frame to replace my stiff as hell Genesis ID. You get any plans to have a demo bike any where?

    Hi Brant
When can we expect “normal” Piglet’s in stock? It’s summer down here in South Africa and I’m keen for a new frame.

    Hi Brant
When are the Ti Piglets arriving, must be any day now I hope!!!

  • rob 9:31 am on February 12, 2011 | #

Could you fit an Alfine rear hub to the ti piglet ?

  • Jonathan 11:03 am on May 4, 2011 | #

Hi IanP, I was interested in a Gates belt drive as well. I think you need a split chain stay for a belt drive and the Ragley above is a sliding derailleur hanger.

Brant, a year has past since beginning of that thread. Why there isn’t any info at all re Piglet Ti on the Ragley web? Haven’t found a single review or a picture of a build bike. Only recently I spotted Hotlines/CRC are offering the 18 and 20inchers. Are we going to see more sizes available and an updated website? When?
    Please post some info.
    Regards, Greg
