Early morning no food + run = fun

Had a really bad night with Gracie in our bed more than she was out of it. I ended up top-to-tailing with her and Jo and waking up with G’s feet in my knackers.

Other things – I can’t actually remember what – escalated, and I grabbed shoes and running kit and headed off early doors leaving Jo to do breakfast and things (thanks!).

Top of the hill, and back via the little freeride chute that I fell off on on my birthday (on my bike). Then back down, below the cliff, down the steps and home. 40mins. Nice.

Went to Bradford this afternoon for sweetcorn and Primark. Bath leaking. Fixed (ish).

Q: If my dad is a joiner, why is the side of my bath not finished after 5 years?

Got one in.

The usual up/down (Sunny Valley in both directions, as it’s better on the knees). About 40mins.

I think they call it “gorge walking”

Sort of. Up sunny valley, then decided to go climb around the waterfall where I dislocated my shoulder a couple of years ago, and try to follow the now-closed footpath up to the bridge at the top. Was a bit scrambly, and I couldn’t see a clear path at all. Oddly, the OS map on streetmap, still shows the path on the south of the river.

Anyhow – emerged out the top, ran to the top of the hill, touched the gate into Lancashire, and came back down the way I went up. 5omins out. Nice. Curry for tea.

Doing it different is fun.

Repeat of yesterdays, though managed it without getting lost on the way up to the farm. The run down Sunny Valley to the fishing lake is just ace – that rolling “could go on forever” feeling. Nice.

Jo making pancakes. Was watching them through the window before I came in. Five dependants all screeching about and having fun. Nice to see.

Might put my kit in the wash. Not been cleaned this year yet.

Better go before the lemon runs out.

Down the road, past Diannes, past the Tripe factory, up the hill and through the old lane thing. Got lost near the top, through the carpark, and across, down, and back through Sunny Valley.

Nice change.

Ran to Lancashire

Came back down via “extreme sheep track” – not seen that for a while.
Ran through bog by gaddings. looked like a murderer.
