香港梗牙HKF: Stem Cap Light Mount
Was thinking about lights the other day. And handlebars with non-round sections and curves and stuff. And I thought “hmm, I wonder if you can mount them on a headset top cap.” But then took 2 steps further and thought, “No, cos you’d just clout them all of’time and that.” Looks like Cateye thought different though.

Further forward, with a fitting incorporated at the front end of the stem somehow (maybe a plate and clamp effect when you tighten the bolts?) ….and height of the pivot pole halved, or gone, with just the pivot point on top and I’d bite. Probably not even doable.

The KNOG rubber band system works for lots of “light-mounting dilemmas”.
But their stretchy silicon casing can tear;
The hooks aren’t very robust;
And the internals are cheapo Chinese blinkys.
But the basic idea is great – Just needs to be made ruffer and tuffer.
